Josie Claire Six Months...

Wow...I am 14 days late posting this!!! Sorry for those of you waiting to see sweet pictures of our big girl! Happy 6 months to our precious little girl!

What are you up to this month, Josie Claire?

You weigh 17.13 pounds (90%)

You are 28 1/4 inches long (off the charts)

Your doctor said you were the average length of an 11 month old!

You wear a size 3 diaper.

You can still wear some 6-9 month clothes.

For the length though you are mostly in 9 month clothing.

You take 4 bottles a day (8:00, 12:00, 4:00, and 8:00)

You eat a fruit with cereal for breakfast

a fruit and vegetable at lunch

and a fruit and vegetable for dinner.

You are FINALLY sleeping through the night!!! yay!

You go to bed around 8:30 and we wake you up for school around 6:15 am.

You still love your paci to fall asleep with. You adore your big brother.

He makes you laugh!!!

We got you a walker and you love to play in it. Funny story...I took a ton of adorable pictures for this months "photo shoot".

When I finished I realized I had accidently put on the "7 month" sticker.

Needless to say you were not interested in taking anymore pictures but I had to get a few.

You mostly tried to tear your sticker off.

We love you so much baby girl! Happy 1/2 way to one year!!!

Hopefully this next half won't FLY by like this first half has!!!

Josie Five Months...

This post is a few days late. School has been very demanding this year and we are just now getting into a good routine. Our sweet girl turned five months on Thursday, August 31st!

What have you been up to, Josie Claire?

You weigh about 16 pounds

You wear a size 2 diaper

You are in 6 month clothing

You eat 5 oz of milk four times a day

You eat oatmeal and a fruit for breakfast

...a fruit and vegetable at lunch

...and a fruit and vegetable at dinner

You have started sleeping in your crib

...unfortunately you haven't slept through the night yet

Around 1:00 am you have to eat a little "snack" and then fall to sleep in mommy's bed.

You love to lay on your tummy and feel the carpet.
You laugh and smile alot but my camera is not fast enough to always capture it!

Your ticklish on your little thighs.

Your hair is WILD!!!
We have to use water to make it lay down when you wake up in the mornings.
We are doing our best to keep it tame with a bow.

You have the BLUEST eyes!

You've started to grasp things and your grip hurts!!!

You are tired of the swing and bouncy seat.

You really like your "jumperoo".

You like to stand up like this.

You ADORE your big brother.

He loves you more than anything and is constantly checking on you.

You are still such a sweet and easy baby.

I'm ready for you to sleep through the night, but I know when that happens you will be even older and I really am trying to enjoy you at this baby stage. Even though it makes for some rough mornings. :)

You make the sweetest little expressions with your mouth.

You are doing great at Mrs. Carla's. She goes on and on about what a laid back baby you are. I'm thankful for that. We love you so much baby girl! You have made the last 5 months so girly and sweet for us! Thank you for that!

Josie Four Months...

You turned four months old yesterday. I took your monthly pictures yesterday but my laptop was at work, so I wasn't able to download them until today.

What are you up to these days?

You weigh close to 15 pounds. (We go Friday for your check up)

You are wearing a size 2 diaper.

You are in all 6 month clothing now.

You smile and laugh at us alot!

You rolled over from your back to your tummy for the first time today!

You are drooling alot! But no teeth yet.

You LOVE your brother especially when he makes you laugh!

You are sitting up good in your Bumbo seat.

You are beginning to arch your back in your bouncy seat so we will have to get rid of it!

You will sit in your swing and watch everyone, but you still don't enjoy swinging in it.

You love to go outside and look around.

You like to blow bubbles with your mouth.

You are really starting to "talk" to us and your toys.

You still sleep in your bassinet beside mommy.

You nurse every 3 hours during the day.

You wake up at least once in the night for a "snack".

Your hair is longer on the sides than the back.

You love to "stand up" when we hold you on our lap.

You will start rice cereal after we go to your four month check up.

You take a good nap every day from 1:00-3:00.

You MUST have your paci in to fall asleep.

You go to bed between 9:00-10:00 pm and are up for the day at 9:00 am.

You are such a little angel!!!

You start BIG school next Monday because mommy has to go back to work. I have so enjoyed spending the last four months with you at home. You are such a little blessing for our family. You are always so content and happy unless you're hungry or tired. I never thought I would have enough love to give someone after Grady, but you have absolutely stolen my heart! I love you to the moon and back, Josie Claire.
